Barloworld CA Trainee Programme

The Barloworld CA Trainee Programme is one of Barloworld’s Young Talent Programmes, aimed at growing critical skills (Chartered Accountants) and developing a potential pool of leaders for the future.

Programme Details

This 3 year programme is accredited by the South African Institute of Accountants (SAICA) and was established as an alternative route for qualification as a Chartered Accountant. The programme started in 1999 and covers all SAICA competencies.

How does the programme work?

Potential recruits will go through a first round of interviews to assess their suitability to the business. Shortlisted candidates will be put through a second set of panel interviews before the final decision is made. The successful recruits will be placed across the Group in business units where their learning will begin.

Requirements

Qualifications: Completed or registered for CTA/PGDA (CTA Level 2 for UNISA students).

Skills & Behavior: Potential to be a leader, able to multi-task and work in teams, attention to detail as well as a commitment to continuous learning & development.
